Once again I am reminded we can’t do it all, but we can all do something.

Our supporters just finished two fund raisers in February and I am so grateful to Monique Aiken, Dietra Wynn Scott and all the friends and family who are tirelessly working to raise funds for the Angel of Mercy project. (I have a feeling they all think it is fun!)

I am so grateful to Jen Bakken for coming alongside me to help with the PR and administration of our organization. I am so grateful to Lori Fuchs for once again making the Gold’s Gym 5K Charity Walk Run and Raffle a great success. I am so grateful to Danielle Lewis and Magda Peronel for taking on the Helping Hands Casino event in Scottsdale with their great group of friends and collegues. I am so grateful to our Sartell Rotary Club, our District and the Pinnacle Peak Rotary Club and their District for helping with the grant for the well that will one day be a reality on the land in Cameroon.

It takes a lot of people doing something to make the lives of the orphans a bit brighter.

NEWSFLASH! I am so grateful to Arcproject: a youth nonprofit based in Chicago that found out about our work with Angel of Mercy through Monique and proceeded to take on our cause raising funds by selling bracelets they make for the HIV/AIDS orphans in Cameroon. We’ll be traveling to Chicago in June to receive the funds and meet all the kids who are doing their something! Your group can help sell the bracelets too! Go to their site and do something!

Thank you for caring for the orphans who have so little. They may be orphaned, but they are not forgotten.
