Sushi Sampling In Scottsdale~Story in Scottsdale Republic

Attendees Enjoying SushiWe had about 20 people join us at Satori’s for the Complimentary Sushi Sampling and Informational Gathering in an attempt to get the word out in the Valley. So many great ideas and energizing fund raising concepts… I can’t wait to implement some of them. This was a great event and the people were all so excited about helping in some way.

I don’t often bill these information gatherings as fund raisers, however, as a wise man once told me that donations have a process: Information, Interest, Involvement and Investment. However, each time some generous person hands me a check given from their heart that often covers the cost of the event and then some. It happened again in Scottsdale. God Bless You! You know who you are!

Some ideas: Frank wants to have a Poker Tournament Fund Raiser… we will work out the details. He will help organize it in between his travels to Africa filming documentaries. Others want to have house to house meetings and yet others want to discuss ways to raise $1,000, as that amount provides housing for an orphan.

Scottsdale Republic did a nice story on us and we hope that will also work to tell the world about the needs of the children. Thanks to Sonja Haller, the reporter. She did a great job telling our story.
