The people on the ground serving the orphans and destitute children on the ground amaze me. I am touched and want to do something…aren’t you?

I am proud to be associated with these lovely souls in a small way.

This update gives you an idea of their activities and includes news and links from Angel of Mercy in Cameroon, Halo Foundation, The Covering in Sierra Leonne, Friends of Orphans Trip to Honduras and Nibakure Children Village.

Feeding Programs/Art Therapy/Vision Trips

Angel of Mercy, Cameroon is currently on a 1,000 children Feed O Rama. Relindes Moffor is there providing boiled eggs (lots of protein and other treats) You can follow her updates on Face Book.

The Raining Season is also providing meals for kids and asking for your help. They have just returned from a vision trip and are planning to take a few more groups this year.

HaloFoundation Rachel Welsh, executive director shares her video describing the needs of the children. She shared with me that her story will be told by Katie Couric in a few months on TV. We hope to help with fund raising for an orphanage in Kenya.

Nibakure Children’s Village: Three homes are up in Rwanda and now Floriane needs help with building a fence aroung the perimeter of the village in order for the children to move in by year end.

Friends of the Orphans (Honduras): There’s a trip to Honduras planned if anyone is interested in going. Reply to me by email and I can help.
